Welcome to Group Coaching!

You’re invited to group coaching as an added bonus to the full bundle IFMNT COT program.

Monthly coaching sessions will occur via Zoom on the 4th Monday night (8-9:30 PM ET) alternating with the 3rd Friday afternoon (12-1:30 PM ET). Please adjust for your time zone. Zoom invites will be posted in your course portal usually the Friday before the week of coaching.

There may be occasional schedule changes due to Susan’s travel schedule or holidays. Notice will be given ahead when changes need to be made. Note: there may be occasional months when no coaching is offered, such as August.

Guidelines for Group Coaching:

  1. This is an informal gathering for the purpose of helping guide your journey through COT training. The goal is to help you navigate our program most successfully to get the most from it! While there is no set agenda, Susan may have a topic of discussion to lead out with. After that, Susan will ask for input/questions from the group.
  2. All sessions are one hour in length…anything not able to be covered in a session will carry over to the next session.
  3. It’ll be great to connect by seeing everyone on camera. Though it’s not imperative you be seen, if you can be, that’d be great!
  4. This is another way to network with your peers, so please be sure your name is showing to aid Susan in moderating, if you would only list your first name, last initial but also add your class level to your name as well – that would be 20, 22, or 24 start.
  5. Come into coaching with questions you may have in relation to the training program. This can be on the logistics of the program, such as program set-up, schedule navigation, study questions, etc. This can also be the forum for discussion about how to put into practice what you are learning or business/career questions in general.
  6. Be allowing, and not judgmental in any way. We’re not here to tell anyone what to do, but simply to provide suggestions and since there are two COT classes combined into this coaching, one new and one established, it is our hope that those further ahead can share tips for how they’ve navigated the course thus far. Newer course participants, we’re sure will value the sharing of other’s challenges and how they were overcome.
  7. Know that this is not a “complaints” forum. Polite feedback and suggestions are welcome, but in light of the fact that what works for one isn’t always the same for another, suggestions on course logistics will be noted. It’s probably best instead to email our office directly.
  8. We encourage live participation so you have the best chance to get your questions answered and the opportunity to share in discussions. All sessions will also be recorded as usual.
  9. When speaking, try to remember to speak from the personal “I” format. An example is “I have found ____ to be helpful”, or “I” have heard ____ or “I” wonder if ___ would be helpful. This is always better than telling someone what to do – like, “You” should try or “You” should do it that way. Always strive to keep the discussion in a positive light! We want to be helpful and encouraging at all times.
  10. Lastly, just have fun with this – it’s an added benefit – use it as such! Be sure to have a notepad handy as you may want to take notes!
